‘Squatters’ is an abstract speed image
featuring a building, where the
inhabitants have their laundry hanging
from the balconies, which the artist
transforms into trajectories of color
and light.
It is an extreme rough and tough
painting from which even the objects in
motion have disappeared. Matter has been
dematerialized and its place taken by a
rolling sequence of abstract vortices
and a carefully regimented flight of
fast moving points, causing the whole
ensemble to pass swiftly from left to
right, swooping and gliding through an
abstract space. |
